News Flash….This just in….You

can powder coat over JB

weld..But don’t try  powercoating

over Marine Tek.>>>>>>>>>>>  

Why would you care??….    Well

sometimes you have a rust   pitted

part that needsthe pits filled in….  

Lots of pits and ya don’t want    to

weld because of the heat….    So,

JB weld to the rescue……….

Thank you for considering Marine Tex. Unfortunately, Marine Tex will most likely lose its bond to the metal at 450 degrees and therefore I would not recommend it for this application.
