Back in the early 80’s, the FX was quite common. What wasn’t common…..seein’ them on the road. They had a bad habit of breaking….very often. Once in ’82 or ’83, I was asked “do they still make Harleys?” You’d get a lot of looks…. I suffered with that Lowrider for 90,000 miles. Something broke or failed every few weeks. Ahhhhh, to be young and stubborn again…
