Around 1960, I worked at a drive in restaurant call the Bunny Dip. The corner of Sepulveda and Avalon.. I worked with a fry cook/High School dropout named Jim.. He had one of these old Studebaker trucks. He raised it up with spring blocks, put oversized tires on it (all 4 corners) and put a junk yard Olds V8 with Hydromatic Trans…I loved that truck and have liked the body style ever since……Old Melon….
