We’re prepping a new utility trailer today… Using a 5.5×10 ft. with wood plank floor.. Painted the wood with sealer/oil the other day.. Put the two main bikes on the trailer and kept moving them to get the tongue weight correct… Adding a stop bar to locate the bikes… 1,000 lbs of bikes on a 900 lb trailer calls for about 250 lbs of pressure at the ball. Adding the bar @ 18″ from the front of the bed gets the balance just right.. We’ll finish tomorrow..
