Look at bottom of front fork….Notice the dampner??? Now where have we seen these before??

Here’s something different….Ride control on the fork rockers…Racing rockers??? Seldom seen…Very hard to find…and yes we do know Pete!… These contraptions are a copy of a Harley racing accessory for the V model bikes.. A non-catalog factory item.. We just had to have a set..Dispay is part of broken off Green Ella forks.
First cut on new blank…
Removed the bent/torn fender yesterday…Cut the new blank to match..Crude work done fast…

Bent fender and strut.. Damaged tail light… Repair and replace, then move on to the next item….Continue until it’s road worthy!

Slightly bent front rim…Not too bad considering the fork snapped in two like a dry twig..
Lever used as timing control…After impact…Note the bent machine screws….Too bad they have Whitworth threads and are really hard to find…
Accessory Lever…From Hap Jones a few years ago…The 1″ version was used to control the ignition advance on quite a few Harley hot rods..You’d use Flanders bars with a 1/4 turn throttle on one side and this gizmo replace the left twist grip…
