1929 JD w/sidecar…….

Today we decided to replace the plug wires on our JD project.. We took the coil apart and were supprised to see lots of paper towels holding the actual coil in place..The old wires were epoxied in the coil body…No problem, we pulled and drilled and removed both wires cleanly..
And what do ya know….A Japanese coil out of ???.. Well it works on the 6v supplied so were gonna reassemble with new plug wires and expanding foam in the case to hold the coil in place…
