Here we go…….Chopper Fest 2011….
December 7th… And so far not many seem to care….It is just sad.
Our fathers and grandfathers were attacked by surprise and then fought for their lives….And our future…Are you comfy this morning???? Do you even acknowledge the debt you owe????
On another subject….Jesse James
was on TV again. This time with
Paul Senior and Junior….The bike
he built was pretty nice…But, he
acted like the A Hole he has proven himself to be…. Too bad
the Pauls’ didn’t smack him around with a skate board….
Note to Jesse: Stay in Texas, and
see if you can learn something about manhood.
Freedom is not Free… We have and continue to pay in blood… God Bless the United States… Never forget…And keep your eyes open…
Mr. Vice President, Mr. Speaker, Members of the Senate, and of the House of Representatives:
Yesterday, December 7th, 1941 — a date which will live in infamy — the United States of America was suddenly and deliberately attacked by naval and air forces of the Empire of Japan.
The United States was at peace with that nation and, at the solicitation of Japan, was still in conversation with its government and its emperor looking toward the maintenance of peace in the Pacific.
Indeed, one hour after Japanese air squadrons had commenced bombing in the American island of Oahu, the Japanese ambassador to the United States and his colleague delivered to our Secretary of State a formal reply to a recent American message. And while this reply stated that it seemed useless to continue the existing diplomatic negotiations, it contained no threat or hint of war or of armed attack.
It will be recorded that the distance of Hawaii from Japan makes it obvious that the attack was deliberately planned many days or even weeks ago. During the intervening time, the Japanese government has deliberately sought to deceive the United States by false statements and expressions of hope for continued peace.
The attack yesterday on the Hawaiian islands has caused severe damage to American naval and military forces. I regret to tell you that very many American lives have been lost. In addition, American ships have been reported torpedoed on the high seas between San Francisco and Honolulu.
Yesterday, the Japanese government also launched an attack against Malaya.
Last night, Japanese forces attacked Hong Kong.
Last night, Japanese forces attacked Guam.
Last night, Japanese forces attacked the Philippine Islands.
Last night, the Japanese attacked Wake Island.
And this morning, the Japanese attacked Midway Island.
Check out the dual cam brakes and fork friction dampners.. …Did I mention the Crocker tool box?
If we have to explain it…..you still wouldn’t understand….and God Bless America!
Did ya notice there is no mention of “Bob Jobs” or “Cut Downs”? Where the H do they think Choppers came from…

OK boys and girls….Today we will cover Harley Exhaust Flow and Design…The short discussion attached, excludes a number of varibles such as velocity and doesn’t mention that the “pipe length” includes the volume in the exhaust port, starting at the exhaust valve seat…
Let’s start with the theory that best exhaust flow will include 2 1/2 cylinder
volume, in the exhaust pipe, before the 1st restriction…. So, for a 1 3/4″
pipe with a 1 5/8″ ID that works out to a 57″ long pipe…Before the first
baffle or restriction….Pretty damnlong pipe, right???
So, all commercial exhaust for Harleys are too short for max torque and horse
power…
But, the exhaust flow can be “tricked into good flow in a much shorter pipe.
One trick, like that used on a Thunder Header is the outside “can” at the end
of the muffler or terminus of the pipe..
The other shown here is not muchdiscussed or sold…. It is a simple reversion
dam, placed, not at the exhaust port, but very near the end or terminus of the
pipe, and INSIDE it……It can be made from one typical drag pipe baffle…
Pay attention to the direction of the baffle on installation..
Putting it in backwards with KILL power.
Putting it in will enhance torque and horsepower and make carburetor
tuning much easier…
