Nearly 60 years ago, when Melon was a youngster, he was given his first ride on a motorcycle..The rider was his fathers cousin, Paul….Well, as it turns out the bike was sold to Century Cycles some time in the late 1950’s..Century is in ‘Pedro..That bike stayed @ Century for decades in their showroom.. It may still be there..During the late 1960’s, Melon used to buy BSA parts there and admire the Vincent, never knowing that this bike was his first taste of motorcycling….Until cousin Paul told him 5 years ago…It is indeed a small, strange world.
