These are the bikes that could have saved Indian.  A “modern” American lightweight.  What a shame.  They were beautiful bikes but came too late with too many teething problems.   Harley’s K model was a mix of modern and traditional.   It too had teething problems but, did survive for 6 years and evolved into the Sportster.
