It’s hard to tell from here..but this J model has “sport tanks” they are narrower than normal. Harley offered a lot of options that seem obsure, now…

Correction this is a J model, with V model design on tanks. Also hand clutch, foot shift
ratchet 4 speed….The ratchet lid started appearing in 1952.. Thanks to old eagle eyes
the correct model of HD was made…
